Success came, but at the cost of my well-being. I had the business, the earnings, but lacked self-confidence, boundaries, and healthy relationships. It was a wake-up call leading me to a healing path of self-love, setting limits, and mastering confident communication.
Now, I'm here to share all the lessons learned. I aim to guide you in asserting yourself, communicating fearlessly, and building a profitable business—minus the burnout.
Truth be told, my journey wasn't always easy.

Moved to the UK to work at the AVEDA global head quarters. 🎉

Two weeks into my dream job in Australia as the lead colourist for the Hairstylist of the Year, I quit due to overwhelming anxiety and imposter syndrome. At 24, I questioned, 'Who was I to land my dream job?
I moved back to Canada.

2009
Got hitched at 26, thinking I was already over the hill! Assumed everything would be smooth sailing from there—oh, how naive! 🤣
Started my own biz while in an abusive marriage... 😕
2010

Ended up divorced and faced with a 20k tax bill I couldn't afford. 😭
Paid off my debt, bought a house on my own, and got ahead with my finances.
2012
2014
At 31, I walked away from my business, sold my house, and started from scratch in a new city where I knew no one. ✨
Earned over 100k working from my basement in a new city and started my education business without any formal training. 😍
2015
Accidentally damaging someone's hair sent me into an eight-month deep depression, and then nearly died from a stress induced panic attack...
2016
2017 - 2018
Hid and played it safe, haunted by the fear of being exposed as a fraud. 🙄
Started my online biz and unexpectedly lost my soulmate dog Leroy. 💔
2019
Generated over 550k in my business while helping other beauty professionals build successful ventures during the pandemic. 💜
2020
Self sabotaged my business revenue because I didn’t feel worthy of running a 1/2 million dollar biz. 🤕
2021
Discovered I had been lied to and cheated on for years, leading to a separation from my partner. 💔
