When social media starting getting big I remember thinking how cool it would be to be a full time youtuber or a blogger.  And while I found that I do love playing around with doing those things, interacting with all of you in my chair is what fuels my passion. If I just did hair without getting to know the person or personality behind the hair, I would have quit long ago. My whole life I’ve been a bit awkward, an oversharer, and lack the ability for small talk. I tend to start conversations about ‘real life’ and struggle to keep things on the surface.  But don’t get me wrong, I do love chatting about what Netflix show your binging on or what podcast you are listening to as well. However, my hope is to have you come for hair but leave with so much more. To have made connections and feel more confident. To been seen and heard. My greatest feeling of success doesn’t come from creating great hair, that in it’s self is subjective, but seeing that you love your hair. I know my style and approach won’t be for everyone but for those of you who it is, I do strive to foster an environment of trust and vulnerability so you feel comfortable sharing with me about your hair and/or your life. It all matters.
